NICOLE CHERUBINI
BIOGRAPHY
Nicole Cherubini (Boston, MA, 1970) received her B.F.A. in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design (Providence, RI), her M.F.A. in Visual Arts from New York University (NY, NY) and later attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (Skowhegan, ME). She has had solo exhibitions at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (Miami, FL), the Santa Monica Museum of Art (Santa Monica, CA) the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA). Cherubini is a recipient of an NEA Travel Grant, a New England Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Sculpture, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award, as well as an Art Matters Grant for travel to Mexico. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Cranbrook Art Museum, MIT’s List Visual Arts Center, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Tang Teaching Museum and the Rose Art Museum. Cherubini currently lives and works in Hudson, NY.
